Solicitor
Mia Sudzum is a solicitor at Hudson Gavin Martin. She is a graduate of the University of Auckland, and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2007.
Mia Sudzum has practised commercial and corporate law for over three years. She has a broad range of commercial experience in relation to technology and intellectual property transactions. This includes advising on the sale and acquisition of businesses, re-structuring of businesses, establishment of joint ventures, and general corporate and commercial matters. Mia has also drafted and advised on various commercial agreements including technology agreements and agreements for the telecommunications industry.
Mia also has experience in intellectual property law and consumer law, including advertising law, food law, and Fair Trading Act and related legislation.
Mia previously worked in the Corporate Advisory Group at Russell McVeagh in Auckland. There she also worked with Mark Gavin in the Intellectual Property Team until his departure in late 2007. Mia joined Hudson Gavin Martin in June 2009.
