Andrew Nicoll is a commercial and corporate law specialist. He provides business and commercial legal services to a variety of clients in both the technology and start-up areas as well as working with a wider range of general commercial and corporate clients. Particular industries in which Andrew has experience include manufacturing, freight and liquor. He also has considerable experience in the resolution of shareholder and director disputes. He advises on the sale and purchase of businesses, formation and structure of joint ventures and start-ups and regularly drafts distribution and supply agreements, confidentiality and other commercial agreements. Andrew also regularly assists not for profit organisations including incorporated societies and charitable trusts.
Andrew joined Hudson Gavin Martin as a partner on 1 August 2012. Prior to that he was a partner at Martelli McKegg for six years from 2006. His previous experience included eight years in Bell Gully’s commercial team followed by three years as a commercial partner at Brookfields. Andrew gained a Master of Laws at the London School of Economics, University of London, in 1993.
