Sarah Cachopa

Sarah joined Hudson Gavin Martin in July 2017 from Grimshaw & Co, where she specialised in civil litigation.

Sarah’s experience includes working on a range of contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, insurance disputes, and consumer law matters.  Sarah has experience in the Court of Appeal, the High Court and the Weathertight Homes Tribunal.   Her role at Hudson Gavin Martin focuses on trade mark registration matters, and on enforcement of trade marks, copyright and other intellectual property rights.

Sarah graduated from the University of Otago in 2011 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English Literature.

Sarah is currently on parental leave.
