A talented Senior Lawyer – Full or Part-Time (0.8 FTE)

  • Are you a senior lawyer with 10+ PQE with a technology, commercial and/or corporate law experience (esp. structuring and capital raising)?
  • Do you want to work in a fast-emerging sector?
  • Is your work/life balance out of kilter?
  • Does the idea of working part time in the legal industry seem virtually impossible?

An amazing Mid-level Lawyer – Full-time

  • Do you have between 3 – 5 years’ PQE preferably with technology, commercial and/or corporate law experience (esp. structuring and capital raising)?
  • Are you confident with the terminology associated with high-tech industries or passionate about learning specific skills in this area?

What you’ll be doing 

You’ll get to work on a variety of interesting and topical work (e.g. commercialisation matters relating to emerging tech, cyber security, data security and privacy, hardware acquisition, software licensing, system implementations and, to coin a phrase, business transformation projects).

Clients range from start-up to established and multinational businesses.  We’re in an enviable position of working with local and international clients on phenomenal work that is often ground-breaking for their respective industries, our clients’ businesses and for New Zealand.

About you

What really sets you apart will be how you demonstrate your personality and what you can bring to the role and firm. We know you can do the work, what matters most to us is how you fit within the culture of our growing team.

You’ll need to have a hands-on working style, as the nature of the work is varied so you’ll need to be responsive. Great people skills are a must too, as we proactively encourage the seniors to support and develop the junior team.
