Luiz specialises in technology law and intellectual property matters. He assists clients across a range of sectors – from start-ups to established companies – to navigate complex regulatory frameworks, bring new technology products to market, and protect their IP.
Luiz is experienced in advising on complex tech transactions and ensuring clients understand their privacy and data obligations (including in relation to the collection and use of biometric information). He is passionate about helping organisations take advantage of the opportunities of a more connected economy – but understands that tech sometimes moves faster than legislation. He provides practical advice that helps clients deploy new solutions while managing legal and reputation risk.
