Ali Merry

Ali specialises in the protection and enforcement of intellectual property, with a particular interest in trade marks. Ali's expertise extends to trade mark strategy, prosecution, portfolio management and enforcement. Ali also enjoys guiding clients through New Zealand’s consumer law and regulatory landscape, providing practical advice on product safety and labelling, advertising standards, and gambling and promotional regulations.

Her experience spans New Zealand and the UK, including in-house roles in the tech and food and beverage industries. Ali's time in-house has given her an invaluable understanding of the commercial world and an appreciation for practical, commercially focused advice.
